Meditation Techniques

Sanjeevani Meditation


1st Step (Omkar) : 2 min

- Please stand up. Close your eyes and pronounce thrice Divine sound OM.


2nd Step (Exercise) : 2 Min


- Do Jogging or any other fast exercise.

3rd Step (Bhastrika Pranayam) : 5 min

- Exhale deeply and little faster than normal from the nostrils with the rhythm of the music (as if you are pumping breathe out)

4th Step (Kapaal Bhaati Pranayam) : 5 min

- Now sit down. Inhale from nostrils and exhale from mouth.

- Let the exhaling process be as deep as possible and let the stomach get pressed inside while exhaling.

- Initially, you may keep both hands on the stomach and feel it going in while exhaling and coming out in while inhaling.

5th Step (Keertan) : 10 min

- You may sit and clap on the music or stand up and dance and clap joyfully. Just celebrate.

6th Step (Relaxation) : 3 min

- Sit down in a comfortable posture or lie down in Shavasan (back touching the ground, one foot apart from the other and palms towards the sky).

- Feel the body is getting calm, breathing is getting poise and mind is becoming peaceful.

7th Step (Self-Remembrance) : 30 min

- Close your eyes and look in the inner sky. This is our formless being. As there is water in the vessel, content in the container, similarly there is the formless in the form.

- Now just look in this inner space. Gradually get merged with this formless consciousness filled with divinity.

Shivnetra Meditation

1st Step (Omkar) : 2 min

- Please stand up and pronounce thrice the divine sound of OM.

2nd Step (Tratak-1) : 2 min

- Switch on the bulb and look at it for 2 min without blinking.


3rd Step ( Looking Inside-2) : 5 min

- Switch off the bulb and close your eyes.

- Look inside and watch the changes in the colors and shapes being reflected inside.

- When there is no picture or color, just look inside at the formless emptiness.


4th Step (Tratak-2) : 2-1/2 min


- Open your eyes, switch on the bulb and for half a minute, do not focus anywhere.

- Now again look at the bulb for 2 minutes without blinking your eyes.


5th Step ( Looking Inside-2) : 5 min

- Switch off the bulb and close your eyes.

- Look inside and watch the changes in the colors and shapes being reflected inside.

- When there is no picture or color, just look inside at the formless emptiness.

Precautions:

- Use a normal bulb of 100 watt. You may make the provision of dimmer switch and keep it near you. Switch off the lights before closing the eyes.

- The height of the bulb should be at the same height as the eyes.

- The distance from the bulb should be of at least 3 meters.

- Do not practice Shivnetra Meditation Technique if your eyes are continuously watering.

- It is more beneficial to do Shivnetra meditation technique at night.

- Do not do this meditation technique for more than 3 months


Urja Meditation

1st Step (Prayer for universal peace and happiness) : 3 min

- Sit down in a comfortable posture and close your eyes. Pray for all to be happy, healthy and blissful. Sing this couplet: ““Sarve bhavantu Sukhinah, Sarve Santu Niramaya, Sarve Bhadrani Pashyantu, Makashchit dukha bhagbhave.”


2nd Step (awakening the energy) : 6 min

- Please stand up and shake the entire body like shivering as if you are a dry leaf.

- Feel that the energy is rising from feet towards the head.

3rd Step (Chakra healing from the back in ascending order) : 9 min

- Heal your own charkas (energy points) in ascending order by keeping your palms on them on the back. Chant the musical notes along.

- Start from mooladhar charka located in the base of the spine.

- Feel that your charka is getting healed by the Divine Energy.

- Repeat the same process fro other Chakras also – Swadhisthan, Manipur, Anahat, Vishudh, Agya and Sahastrar.

4th Step ( Chakra healing from the front in descending order) : 9 min


- Heal your own Chakras from the front in descending order.

- Start from Sahastrar Chakra and continue the same process on all other Chakras.

5th Step (Relaxation) : 3 min


- Sit down in a comfortable posture or lie down in Shavasan (back touching the ground, one foot apart from the other and palms towards the sky).

- Feel that the body is getting calm, breathing is getting poise and mind is becoming peaceful.

Indradhanush Meditation


1st Step (Omkar) : 2 min

- Please stand up and pronounce thrice the divine sound of OM.


2nd Step (Shivering) : 5 min

- Make your whole body shiver on the tunes of the music.

- Watch consciously the shivering and the balance.


3rd Step (Listening) : 3 min

- Sit down in a comfortable posture.

- Listen to the music and also be aware of yourself.


4th Step (Vipassana) : 3 min

- Be conscious of the incoming as well as the outgoing breath.

- Simultaneously beware of the self.


5th Step (Gratitude) : 5 min

- You can be seated or can stand according to your wish.

- Keep both your hands on heart and feel the love vibration of your master coming towards you and his love is showering.

- Swing and dance in ecstasy.

6th Step (Watching) : 3 min


- Close your eyes and look into the inner sky. Invite your thoughts.

7th Step (Contemplation) : 3 min

- Feel that your master is present in front of you.

8th Step (Relaxation) : 3 min

- Sit down in a comfortable posture or lie down in Shavasan (back touching the ground, one foot apart from the other and palms towards the sky).

- Feel that the body is getting calm, breathing is getting poise and mind is becoming peaceful.

9th Step (Self Remembrance) : 30 min
